Heywood posted a testing target of 158-5 at home to Rochdale. It’s testament to the efforts of many people that the game is on at all. HEYWOOD will have to wait to learn if they have qualified for the quarter-finals of the Lees Bitter Twenty20 Cup after being pipped in their final North West Group match. They lost by five wickets, with just one ball left, to Rochdale in a tense finale. But Heywood may have done enough to make the Click here for more ….

 

All of tonight’s T20 matches in the CLL have been called off. Heywood were due to make the trip to Redbrook tonight to face Rochdale, but as usual the foul weather has intervened. All games will be replayed on Monday 25 June (time to be decided).

Heywood seconds’ perfect start to the season came to an abrupt end at the hands of Rochdale at Crimble on Saturday.
