Heywood CC’s annual presentation night will be held at the club on Saturday 5 October, from 7pm.
The evening will work up from the under-9s to the first team, finishing with the club’s special prizes.
It will be chance to celebrate a fine season across all age groups, with the first and second teams there to celebrate Wood and Burton Cup success.
Due to the success of last week’s cricket camp it has been decided that another one will be staged at Crimble. The dates will be Tuesday 27th to Friday 30th August from 10am to 3.30pm everyday. Danny James and George Wall were the heroes in a nerve-jangling victory for Heywood under-15s on Friday. Clifton were the visitors to Heywood, and they were restricted to just 91 off their 20 overs, with Heywood generally fielding and bowling well. HEYWOOD have won the Taylor Cup, the Central Lancashire League’s knockout competition for Under-18 age group teams.
