HCC Sponsorship

There are plenty of reasons to be involved as a sponsor with Heywood Cricket Club.

You will be involved with the only sports club in the town that represents the whole of Heywood, you will have use of a fabulous facility and you will be involved in a club that is at the heart of its community.

We are a Clubmark-accredited club and are part of Lancashire County Cricket Club’s ‘Chance to Shine’ scheme, which sees us provide coaching to primary schools in the area.

In 2012, we will be running five age-group teams, from under-9s to under-18s, with regular pictures and reports of their games which will reach the local press and this website, which has thousands of page views every week.

Last season (2011) we had pages of coverage in the Heywood Advertiser, thanks to the efforts of press officer and former Manchester Evening News journalist Steve McHugh, the like of which even many professional clubs could only dream of.
