TWO popular pre-Christmas events promise to make Heywood Cricket Club a lively place this coming Sunday (December 16).
The Children’s Christmas Party starts at 1.30pm and the evening features the annual Carol Concert.
The afternoon event for the young ones is always a highlight, and the feature will be a visit by Father Christmas.
The Carol Concert starts at 7.30pm and those attending are advised to be early to make sure of getting a seat. Festive music will be provided by the Middleton Junior Brass Band.
+ THE Crimble Clubhouse will be closed over the Christmas period – apart from pre-arranged private social functions – from Friday, December 21, until 4pm on New Year’s Day.
