Dale Latham smashes a full toss for fourHeywood enjoyed their pre-season work-out at a cold and wind-blown Enfield on Sunday. Ross Zelem played well until he was caught behindWhat a thoroughly dispiriting defeat it must have been for Chris Kaye and Joe Lovell at Walsden on Saturday. Heywood crashed to their second successive league defeat, and their second successive loss to the villagers, by 44 runs. HEYWOOD have won the Taylor Cup, the Central Lancashire League’s knockout competition for Under-18 age group teams.    They convincingly toppled Rochdale by four wickets at Redbrook in the final, held over from the end of last season because of wet weather.
