Young cricketers wanting to play in our junior teams need to attend Heywood CC’s Junior Registration Night on Thursday 29 March. This year for the first time we’re running an under-9s team – coached by England cricketer Kathryn Cross – as well as the other four junior teams. Heywood CC under-18s Ashworth Cup Semi-final clash with Norden tomorrow night has been postponed. The Woodhouse Lane side are unable to raise a side. The match will now be staged at Crimble on Tuesday night, starting as early as possible, probably around 5.15pm.

Skipper Adam Fawcett was on song with bat and ball as Heywood CC under-18s moved into the semi-finals of the Taylor Cup on Wednesday night.
