As an added bonus for the youngsters Kia, the sponsors of the upcoming Kia Super League, brought along a bouncy castle and handout out KSL goodie bags to the participants.

The media were in attendance and the sun shone on a lovely evening for all concerned.

  1. Heywood cricket club are proud to be able to support so many All Stars at the start of their cricket journey and would express our thanks to Lancashire Thunder for their encouragement of our youngest players. As a club we wish the ladies every success in the forethcoming Kia Super League.

  2. Thank you to the Thunder Stars for making our little “All Stars” players evening special on Tuesday night. Special thanks to our own star Kate for donning the Star costume. It was a lovely evening, which we hope will mean that this years little All Stars and their parents will return next season to become an integral part of our junior section. Thanks also to Bobby Cross and Lee Clarkson for taking and training our little All Stars this season. You have both done a sterling job which is much appreciated.
