keithcabNatWest CricketForce 2013 is up and running already with lots of activity down at Crimble. Whilst the actual event itself is being held on Easter Sunday, March 31st, preparations are well underway as the club stages a smaller scale repeat of last year’s incredible event. There’s a big night of cricket for the under-18s at Crimble on Wednesday. Heywood take on Royton in the semi-finals of the Taylor Cup. Heywood were victorious when the two sides met earlier in the season, but everyone present knew Royton were a decent team and can cause problems. The only players I know who Click here for more ….

The seven Heywood players and members who went to Friday’s Central Lancashire League dinner came away laden with awards and prizes. Bobby Cross won the Frank Worrell Trophy for the leading English amateur run scorer – he hit 924 runs at an average of 38.5 – claiming it for a record fifth time. We also Click here for more ….
