HEYWOOD Cricket Club will be hoping that the storms keep away and allow another busy weekend of cricket at Crimble.
The senior team entertain Royton on Friday night in their latest 15-overs-per-side group game, hoping to make amends for the previous week’s defeat at Milnrow – when they failed to defend a total of almost 150.
Then the following day they take on Tottington St John’s in a 40-overs clash aiming to build on a victory at Edenfield the previous Saturday.
The second team travel to Elton on Saturday, and the third team face a Sunday home date with Walshaw.
