HEYWOOD are keeping their fingers crossed that the weather allows them to stage important senior matches at Crimble this weekend.
They take on Royton on Saturday in Premier League 2 of the Greater Manchester League needing to get more points on the board after losing their last two games.
And on Sunday the visitors are high-flying Bradshaw in the first round of the Derek Kay 1st X1 Cup.
The Bolton area side have made a confident start to their first GML season, topping Premier League 2 with a 100 per cent record.
Heywood’s hopes have been boosted by the return of new signing Fayaz Ughradar, who missed last weekend’s defeat at Bury through injury.
