Thanks to the incredible diligence of first Vernon Connolly and then Flo Cromarty the club has a wonderful record of players that have played in the first team at Heywood over the years.

Along with player statistics and notable performances, each amateur player that has played for the first team since the records began has been allocated an individual player number allowing those players to understand their part in the history of the club.

In this, the 100th year of cricket at Crimble, and with all of the challenges that we are now facing, the club is offering current and particularly former players the chance to have their own piece of Heywood memorabilia with their own unique player number and any other relevant statistics or information.

A couple of examples of the framed and mounted certificates are below.

Please contact Bobby on [email protected] if you would like to order your own unique certificate or you want to order one for a friend or relative that may have played for the club.

We are suggesting a minimum donation of £10 for the certificates or £15 for a framed version with all proceeds going to the club to help in these challenging times.

For anyone unable to collect their order locally we are happy to look at posting the certificate only out to you and will be happy to discuss the best way to do so.

  1. What a wonderful way fpr everyone to help the club. I am sure these certificates will provide a lasting memory for all current and past players of their time at Heywood. If, like me, you didn’t play then why not give one as a present to someone who did. I cannot actually stress enough the current need to support the club in these very strange times, so why not use this as a way.

  2. I would love mine would you post to Australia if so how much etc
