HEYWOOD Monkeys are hoping that that their T20 campaign finally gets under way at Crimble on Friday (May 28).
Their opening fixture of the rescheduled Greater Manchester League T20 Premier Cup programme at home to Clifton Kingfishers last Friday fell foul of the weather.
Now the Monkeys will be keen to see some group action on Friday night against Stand, the game having a 6pm start.
Heywood’s senior side go to Bolton area side Edgworth on Saturday in Premier League 2, keen to build on an excellent showing last weekend in the defeat of Woodhouses.
The second team have a home fixture the same day against Hadfield St Andrews. Both games will start at 12 with an eye on the Champions League final in the evening.
And the third team complete a Crimble weekend triple header on Sunday when they entertain Farnworth Social Circle in the Sunday Plate.
