HEYWOOD are forced to make a significant change to their senior side for Saturday’s visit to Oldham area club Moorside (12.30).

James Kettleborough, who shone with the bat and ball at Denton West in the opening game of the Greater Manchester League season, has a long-standing prior commitment to run in the London Marathon at the weekend.

That sees 17-year-old Mikey Witts step back into a team hoping to make it a second successive victory in Division 1A.

There is cricket at Crimble on both days of the weekend, with the 2nd X1 taking on Werneth on Saturday (1pm) and the 3rd X1 facing Greenmount on Sunday (1.30pm).

Lee Grogan is forced to miss the second team fixture but available again and back into the team come Joey O’Neill, Olivia Thomas, Sam Byrne, Lee Clarkson and James Mills.

The 3rd X1 on Sunday will be skippered by Matt Hood
