Like many others, I was gutted to hear the news of Scott’s passing. I thoroughly enjoyed his friendship and his company over the years, dating back to our u15 and u18 playing days. I said in response to his Crimble Memories, he was one of my favourite ever teammates and I know I will always smile when I remember him. My heart goes out to Steve, Anne, Linsey and Diane for their loss.

Currently on holiday in the Lake District and shocked and saddened by this terrible news.

I played plenty of cricket with Scott over the years including a couple of 1st team seasons when we always seemed up against it but won a few regrettably lost a few more!

HCC and the world of journalism is a poorer place with no scoop. Scott had a unique style in everything he did and i will miss that pint on the patio in his company.

Heart felt condolences to Steve, Anne and Lynsey.
