HEYWOOD Monkeys start their Twenty20 campaign at Crimble on Friday (June 21).
They entertain Clifton Kingfishers (6pm) in the first of six qualifying matches of their group in the Greater Manchester League’s 20 Premier Cup.
And an appetising Crimble follow-up comes the next day when Woodhouses are the visitors, with Heywood’s senior side needing points to start climbing the Premier League 2 table.
The second team have a weekend double header away from home, starting with Saturday’s trip to Oldham in Division 3 East.
Sunday brings a trip to Glodwick in the first round of the 2nd X1 Cup.
