Heywood Cricket Club are delighted to have a new main kit sponsor for 2021 thanks to CySec Professionals Ltd.

The company provides training for the cyber security industry and the deal will enable all of the teams across both junior and senior cricket to be kitted out in readiness for what we hope will be a much fuller summer of cricket this year.

Cricket Chairman Roger Smethurst confirmed how grateful the club are for the support saying “it is hugely important to the club that all our teams look and feel part of what we are trying to achieve, an inclusive club where everyone is valued. The support we have been given will mean all our teams can look forward to getting onto the field this season and carrying on the proud traditions of the club.”

Club Chairman John Rhodes was equally delighted stating that “in this 100th anniversary year of cricket at Crimble it is fantastic to know that our players, young and old, will be able to walk onto the field in new kit representing our club thanks to the partnership with CySec Professionals.”

Through industry partnerships, CySec Professionals Ltd aims to enable opportunity, inspiration and education for existing and future cybersecurity professionals worldwide.

CySec Professionals Ltd is an APMG International Accredited Training Organisation (ATO) for the NIST Cyber Security Professional (NCSP®) program and is a provider of UK National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) Certified Training.
