chris kayeSun, 31 May 2020 11:24:36 +0000http://www.heywoodcc.co.uk/?p=9698#comment-126038at the time we needed a pro that bought into the fact we were a team in transition , bruce did that and for the 2 seasons he was with us was magnificent. as captain during those times he was always supportive and never critical. he always put the teams needs first. it is a regret we didnt sign bruce for a third season when the younger lads were a year more experienced and he could just concentrate on his own game. a great lad off the pitch as well and had time for everyone. i hope our paths cross again
