JUNIORREG0001CRIMBLE springs to life over the next few days with one important annual event and an initiative sparked by the new Social Committee.

The Junior Registration Night is (as we write) tomorrow night, Thursday, March 17 (7.30pm), when parents and young players can learn about all the benefits of being involved with Heywood Cricket Club during the impending season.

On hand will be the Club’s junior coaches, who are ECB-qualified and possess the skills to ensure that the youngsters enjoy their cricket at Crimble.

Other Club officials will be present, too, to give information about the first campaign in the Greater Manchester Cricket League and the range of upcoming social events.

The first of those comes on Sunday when Crimble is expected to be busy  for the Manchester soccer derby, City v United (4pm kick-off), which will be shown on the new screen recently re-sited in the lounge.

The bar will be open earlier than normal on a Sunday at 2pm and food will be served at half-time. So please try to get down to support the Club, create some atmosphere and have an enjoyable time!
