HEYWOOD have on paper a tough start on their return to Greater Manchester Premier League action.

They entertain Flixton, who were Premier and T20 champions in 2017, on Saturday, April 21, in their bid to re-establish themselves in the top flight following promotion last season.

And the following week, April 28, sees another high profile game with a visit to Bamford Fieldhouse.

The league season runs until September 15 with a final clash against Clifton at Crimble.

The second team start with a visit to Failsworth Macedonia followed by a home clash with Ashton Ladysmith, on April 21 and 28 respectively.

Their fixtures conclude on September 15 with an away clash against their Saddleworth Cricket Club counterparts.
