HEYWOOD face a trip to Worsley area side Roe Green on Friday, July 7, in the last 16 of the Archway T20 Cup.

Heywood finished top of their qualifying Group, but, in accordance with a pre-competition statement, those teams who played only one home qualifying game have priority for a home tie in the last 16. Group winners play a runner-up from another pool.

Qualifiers: Pool 1 – winners Denton St Lawrence, runners-up Denton West; Pool 2 – winners Denton, runners-up Flowery Field; Pool 3 – winners Heywood, runners-up Bamford Fieldhouse; Pool 4, winners Clifton, runners-up Roe Green; Pool 5 – winners Flixton, runners-up Stretford; Pool 6 – winners, Walshaw, runners-up Greenmount; Pool 7 – winners Bury, runners-up Elton; Pool 8, winners Edenfield, runners-up Elton Vale.

Last 16: Flixton v Flowery Field, Walshaw v Bamford Fieldhouse, Bury v Greenmount, Elton v Edenfield, Roe Green v Heywood, Denton West v Denton, Stretford v Clifton, Elton Vale v Denton St Lawrence.

The quarter-finals on July 21 have also been pre-drawn avoiding teams already played.

Last eight: Flixton or Flowery Field v Roe Green or Heywood, Elton or Edenfield v Denton West or Denton, Walshaw or Bamford Fieldhouse v Stretford or Clifton, Elton Vale or Denton St Lawrence v Bury or Greenmount

Finals day, consisting of the two semi-finals and the final, will be Sunday, July 30, unless Clifton qualify because they are representing GMCL in an area final that day. A revised date would then be organised.
